Hey everyone! It's been a while hasn't it? Sorry bout the mini hiatus, I am currently in JAPAN for holidays and having the time of my life :3 As the Christmas season came and went, and now we're approaching New Years, I thought it still relevant to share this Christmas Makeup Tutorial that I put up on my Youtube account. It's more of a holiday season makeup tutorial, with shimmers, glitters, reds and a dramatic eye. Also, I have a giveaway going on, which I will talk about later and link after the video.
Before that, let's do that customary life updates of Heylinni. This one is an exciting one, since it's holidays and I've done so much more than I usually do. First of all, Christmas was lovely. My fam actually did stuff for once, and we had this nice BBQ brunch in a decked out backyard. It was just a good day to spend time with family and appreciate having people there for you. It wasn't too eventful, but it was extreeemely pleasant :) Then Boxing Day - oh god, boxing day was the nightmare. I worked at a department store during Boxing Day for a 12 hour shift. I figured I'd need the cash for Japan, and I don't regret it one bit. The pay was at 2.5 times the usual!! But still, the day itself was so long and busy and I felt pretty much destroyed by the end of it. Only the breaks kept me going. Right after that, I dyed my hair tips ash blonde/grey/brown (still a little patchy), and flew to Jaaapan. It meant that I had to quit my Xmas casual job though, which was sad because I really liked the team I worked with. I've been having a lot of fun and will be putting up travel vlogs verrrry soon. Also, if you want to stay updated with me, make sure you follow my Instagram (@heylini) because I'll be posting pretty much daily over there.
Now, back to the Christmas tutorial. I highly recommend following this for New Year's Eve parties as well, since it's so bright and cute. If you guys do end up doing the look, make sure you tag me or send me pictures! It's so fun to share these around :) The look focuses a lot on thinner, longer eyebrows, gold and silver shadows, contouring and red lips. It's super easy and doesn't take too much time as well. It's a pretty fun look overall, and I especially love the touch of glitter added at the end - with both the face and body glitter from Red Earth, and also the metallic flash tattoo at the eye.
