Hey everyone~ I've got a short but sweet update for you all just letting you know what I've been up to these past few days as well as revealing my Circle Lens Giveaway winner (sponsored by LoveShoppingHolics) ! 

Firstly, my birthday was just a few days ago :D I had a lovely day spending it with my closest friends and family. Though we didn't do anything particularly special, I was just so happy to be able to pass the day with PEOPLE that were special. Now that I'm a year older, I have new goals and aspirations, and a clearer idea of what I want to do in life. It's reassuring to know that this year I'll be working very hard to achieve something that becomes a turning point of my life. 
So to start off with, my friends and I went to Praus and got Froyo :D YUM! Totally delicious and perfect for taking photos of. We then headed off to Karaoke, which is one of my favourite things to do when chilling. Honestly, I go to K so much that it's almost absurd! T_T
 My friend bought me some special gifts, which she brought back from New Zealand. I love everything and I really appreciate the thought she put into the presents. I got some cute, patterned socks, an icecream pen, a nail kit and --- a beautiful snow globe! I've actually been pestering her about getting me a snow globe (though I'm not sure why I'm obsessed with them) so I was so glad that she remembered to buy it ^_^
My mum also got me some cute gifts from Morning Glory. She bought me a princessy handheld mirror (just to boost my vanity even more...thanks mum) and these really cute sponge heart hair curlers. 
I'm not really sure how the curlers work at this moment (if you've got any ideas, let me know in the comments) but I might make a review on it later on if you're still curious :) 

Dinner was pretty ordinary, but I did get a lovely cake! Check out some nice photos of dinner (posted the first one on my insta: heylini)

Oh yeah! In the evening, I painted my nails with the Chi Chi Pearl Bead Manicure Kit that my friend bought me. I love the effect because it looks like candy, yuum. I will be writing a review/tutorial on this in a later post.

On other news and updates, I don't know if you've noticed this yet, but I have now got my own domain! My URL is now www.heylinni.com , so you can access this site easier without having to type that long spiel of '.blogspot.com' 
I feel so happy about this, because it's a signal that my blog is growing and becoming a bigger part of my life. Obtaining the domain and setting it up was totally difficult for me but I'm lucky I had a total tech wizard friend helping me out with that (THANKS!!) 

Also, I'll be heading back to school soon for the most important year of my life so far (!!!). I'll still be blogging but maybe a little less than usual. I hope you continue to support me though by reading this blog. And don't fear! You can get constant updates from me through my Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

    Happy (belated) birthday! Glad you had a great time during your birthday! As for those heart shaped hair curlers, what I do with mine is I stick the end of my hair through the little slit and wrap my hair around the center. Then I continue to wrap it until I'm done (maybe put bobby pins in there to secure it) Then I sleep with it on and wake up with curls! Also, congrats to Gin~ (Btw your nails kinda remind me of those dippin' dots ice cream! xD)

    These photos are so adorable! Esp the yogurt and socks. Haha. And I'm in love with snow globes too! I currently have 5 in my collection. I love those that can be wounded up and play songs :) Love your nails too! xx
